Philosophy
We believe in simple things, done well.
BROED is not a concept that needs explaining. It is a house where people cook, drink, talk and listen. Everything else follows from that.

Less, but more precisely.
Our kitchen follows the season, not the trend. Few components on the plate, each with a reason to be there. We cook what we want to eat ourselves.

We know the names.
We choose our bread, cheese, vegetables and coffee with care. What reaches the table should be good – and as little as possible should go to waste.

Listening is half the work.
Good service is quiet. It notices what is needed before anyone asks, and leaves room when nobody needs anything.

The room is part of the menu.
Honest materials, calm lines, light with direction. The room steps back so that the people in it become visible.

A place has a sound.
Music is not background here. We invite people who have something to show, to play or to tell.

A house for the neighbourhood.
BROED should be a place you return to. For a quick lunch break as much as for the most important meal of the year.
